Dortha's Birthday Gift

I promised weeks ago that I would post a picture of the gift my family gave me for my birthday in August. I think I forgot to do it. Anyway, the picture above shows the nice flat screen HD television and table my wonderful family bought for me. Ron and Roger got it all set up at that time but our cable company did not then offer the HD service, however, it IS available now--as of November 5th. Yesterday number one son and his Dad went to the office and made the necessary arrangements for the HD service. Ron spent several hours getting everything properly installed then grilled us on how to use the new remote control. We may need another lesson!!!! Oh yes, Stephen came along and helped a bit also. Nice to have a 'real' technition available!!! I fixed a 'country' evening meal for Ron, Jan and Sherlyn. Small pay for all the time Ron spent setting up the service. We enjoyed his visit and help. One negative thought------I have a feeling my dear husband will plant himself in front of that new TV to watch his ballgames!!!! That is OK. I was taught to share.
