Not only is God sooooo good, He has given us a good day. It has been cold but sunny and cheery. I have done some chores that really needed to be done but I had not been able to do them for awhile. Until I was assured that I did not have a fracture, I was somewhat protective of my hip and did not want to do more damage by over use if there were a fracture. I feel now that it is OK to do whatever I feel like doing. Some things are very difficult for me so the things I cannot get done will just not get done!!!! I cannot tell that the pain has subsided any, however, the Dr. said it would be a few days before I would feel any relief from the shot and I can live with the pain in exchange of not having to have surgery. Until 2 days ago, I wasn't even sure that I could cook a turkey, much less do all the other things I want to do. Now I Can do all the things I need to do.
Ryan will not be able to join us for Thanksgiving and we shall miss him. I am sure he will be lonely at camp and will wish he could be with his family. I believe he WILL be able to come at Christmas time so that will be good. Merrel and I are sending him a little greeting tomorrow hoping he will receive it before Thanksgiving. Just want him to know we are thinking of him.
