Another Thanks to Our Troups!!
I think we cannot thank our military enough for all they do for our dear country. I think of them each day and remember to say a prayer for them. I realize many will be wishing they could be home with family during the Holiday Season but for most, it will be impossible. It will be a lonely time for the family left behind as well.
Speaking of "thanks", I owe a special thanks to my dear husband. Today has been a very cold day with a strong, cold wind. I needed to drive into town and my car did not have enough gas to travel that many miles so while I was getting ready, my husband took my car to the station and filled it with gas for me so I wouldn't have to get out in the cold wind to do it. I appreciate him for so many reasons. I seldom ever have to put gas in my car. It is a job I desperately dislike doing. I do not like having to take hold of the smelly, old handle, I don't like standing in the wind and the cold and I don't even like standing in the heat in the Summer time. I could never list all the ways I appreciate him. Thank you dear!!!!
We are on the count down for the arrival of our guests. We are very anxious and are looking forward to a great week.
Love and prayers,
Dortha
