Can't Find The Turkey!!!We had a really nice Thanksgiving Dinner at our church today. Now I feel like I suppose the turkey felt---stuffed!! I always eat too much because there are sooooo many choices. The "Wings of Morning" singing group entertained us with their singing several songs. Then we had a little game session with a "For What Are You Thankful?" theme. That is easy enough to talk about, especially at this time.
Today was an enjoyable day but this week is also a sorrowful week. One of our church lady friends passed away yesterday morning. She had some selective surgery more than a week ago. There were complications which kept her in ICU for most of a week. After she was moved to a room, she suffered a major stroke and remained unresponsive until she passed away. So sad. Her husband will be totally lost without her. He is not in good health and probably cannot live alone. Visitation and service for her will be at our church Saturday morning. We missed them at our dinner today and shall continue to miss her.
