I am Still Feeling Patriotic!!!

Not much to report these days. Today will be a little different for me. Finally we have enough green beans so I can put some of them in jars-----my first canning this year. We have had more than we could eat so have sharred them with friends and family. I don't expect to reach the number of jars---168--- I canned last year but certainly hope the vines will continue to produce so I can can several jars this year. We enjoy them the year around and they certainly help with our ever rising food costs.

Darla, it just HAS to be the boots. No other explanation. If I can only find the picture with the "Go-go boots, then we will have no doubt. I am glad you had a nice visit with your Parham families. Remember to circle your calendar for the August get-to-gether with the Holland families. Most of them will be here from August 20th to August 27th.

I must get busy with the beans.
