Two of my Favorite People!!

A special "good morning" to all you good people. This is a busy week on Holland Hill. There is a lot to do between now and August 23rd and not so many days to get it done. We are looking forward to seeing ALL of our family at that time.

Jan survived her 2 plus hours in the dentist chair yesterday but wasn't feeling very well last night. I haven't checked on her yet this morning.

Andrew and Kristen are visiting this week. They have grown up much too fast. Seems such a short time ago when Jan and I shuffled them back and forth across the street and "baby sat" them while their mother worked. Kristen will turn 14 next month and Andrew will become a young man of 16 in September. He mowed part of Jan's lawn last evening. With all the rains we have received recently, the grass is growing like Spring-time. Merrel can't keep up with the mowing all by himself.

Devin and Juneau drove up from South AR yesterday. Devin said Juneau is not a very good traveler. She gets tired of the 5 hour ride. She enjoys her freedom on this hill.

I am so sorry Darla, for tempting you with the fresh peach cobbler. If you can come over this weekend, I will try to make it up to you by fixing a special meal for you. It will be good to see you.

I better get my day started.
