Since we are promised a hazy, hot, and humid day today, we may wish we could join Charlie Brown and Snoopy. We are thankful for the nice rain we had Tues. night and Wed. morn. We received in excess of 3". We continue to have a very green world. Some years by the end of July, our yards are brown from the heat and lack of rain. Not so this year. Our lawns need mowing more often than one person can get them done. We expect soooo much from Merrel. He has to do all the yard work plus all the garden work. Courtney said she might be able to mow on Saturday. That would help. We are so thankful that Merrel is able to do all he can do. The pace-maker is what he needed. He has so much more energy now than before. Without it he would not be able to do all the yard and garden work.
