Almost My Bed Time!!!

Sleepy Time!!!!

I can relate to this little guy!!! I have had a non-stop day but it has been a very good day. As I told you this morning, we would be going to our catered Christmas Banquet at noon today. Well, that we did. My Mother always taught me that if I couldn't say something good, then don't say anything at all. I will only say I have had better meals and I have never seen COLDER rolls. Of course the menu only said "dinner rolls". It did not specify if they would be hot or cold so I was probably wrong to assume that they would be hot!!! The program was good and we enjoyed the company of about 125 people.

After our meal, Jan and I went to the grocery store then I fixed some food for Merrel, Jan, Sherlyn, Courtney and myself. We had a nice visit and they have all gone back across the street. Merrel is watching THE ballgame and I am doing what I do best----or at least what I like doing best!!!! Thank you for your comment earlier today, Sherlyn. Jan also told me that Darla looks forward to reading each day. I will just be glad when more people learn to write!!!

Devin is on his way but is still 4 or 5 hours away so he will get here in the wee hours. After having worked today, I am sure he is a bit weary. It will be good to see him. We may have to stand in line, however, as I think he is more anxious to see Carley than he is to see us. That's OK. We don't mind waiting.

Soon be my bedtime and Sundays are always busy days so I will say................................
