First Lady

Just a note to say that Mother is right.....we all had a great time....wish everyone could have been here!! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family. Though some times are rough, there's still good times. And remember that laughter is good medicine, so we should all be feeling really good by now!!
Of course, it wouldn't have been as good a time as it was without Mother's endless work in the kitchen, preparing some of her best meals. Hats off to the First Lady of the Holland House!!!! I don't know of anyone who can ever fill her shoes, but Kristen is well on her way for only being 13 year old. She and her great-grandmother made homemade bread, cinnamon rolls, etc on Saturday evening. They ground the wheat, and made it all from scratch. Of course, they needed people to test the results and about 9 of us did just that. Oh, that wonderful taste of bread just out of the oven!! Yummy!
