I am so glad you have contracted the blogging fever and with Kristen's encourageaging you, maybe the guilt will take over and you can't resist. It has become addictive for me. I check each time I get close to my computer, which could be a dozen times a day, just to see if SOMEONE might have posted. If no one has posted, I may re-read some "older posts". I may even re-read some I, myself, have posted.
I shall look forward to the picture of Kristen's birthday tomorrow. I like the picture you posted also. It is very restful and serene and to think, Roger and Anne have to look at that awesome ocean every day.
Well, we have more clouds today and promise of more showers. I won't complain, however, I know "This is the day the Lord hath made, I will rejoice and be glad in it"!!! I like the Fall time. The air is cool and crisp this morning. The sad part is that soon our beautiful, green leaves will be falling from the trees and then the ice and snow will come. At that time, we will set our sights on yet another Springtime with beautiful green leaves once again.
Thank you for your kind words, Darla. I am not so sure your Granddad was using all his brain cells when he chose me over the other girl friends he had. He had several on the string at the same time and some of them were very sharp and attractive. I didn't realize, until later, how many I was competing with and I feel quite honored and blessed that he picked me. I just supposed that I was his only one, just as he was my only one but that wasn't true!!! He was playing the field!!! An interesting fact is, I am the only one of his friends who is still living. I suppose that shows you that he has taken very good care of me.
Please have a great day and thank you for posting.
I love you,
Grandmother
